I’m Emily, the founder of Desira Dermal
a Perth-based skin and dermal therapy clinic created with a deep passion for helping people feel confident in their own skin. My approach blends advanced clinical knowledge with a warm, personalised experience, because I believe exceptional skin treatments should feel both results-driven and genuinely caring. Every client is treated as an individual, with a tailored plan designed to support their unique skin goals, concerns and lifestyle.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Graduate Diploma in Dermal Therapy, a Graduate Certificate in Intense Pulsed Light and Laser Hair Reduction, an IPL and Laser Safety Officer qualification, and a Certificate IV in Beauty. With more than 10 years of experience in the beauty and dermal industry, I have built my career around skin health, safety and effective treatment outcomes. My background in nursing provides a strong clinical foundation, while my dermal training has deepened my expertise in advanced skin treatments and long-term skin transformation.
Over the years, I have worked in holistic clinics alongside cosmetic acupuncturists and naturopaths, as well as in leading DMK clinics across Perth, Western Australia. That experience has shaped the way I approach skin: I look at the bigger picture, not just the surface concern, and I value evidence-based treatment, high-quality products and a more considered understanding of what the skin truly needs.
I created Desira Dermal to offer a space that feels elevated, calming and personal, where clients feel listened to, cared for and confident in the treatments they choose. My focus is on customised treatment plans that may support concerns such as acne, pigmentation, sensitivity, dehydration, congestion, ageing and overall skin rejuvenation, while helping clients feel informed and empowered throughout their skin journey.
If you’re looking for a Perth skin expert who combines advanced dermal therapy, clinical knowledge and a genuinely welcoming approach, I’d love to welcome you into Desira Dermal.
