Healite LED Therapy is a gentle, non-invasive treatment that uses clinically recognised light wavelengths to support skin healing, reduce inflammation, and improve overall skin health. At Desira Dermal, treatments are performed using Healite wavelengths including 830nm near-infrared light and 415nm blue light, selected according to your skin concerns, treatment goals, and whether the treatment is being used on its own or to support recovery.

The 830nm wavelength works deeper within the skin and is commonly used to help calm inflammation, support wound healing, assist post-treatment recovery, and promote skin rejuvenation. Evidence from clinical studies on LED phototherapy has shown 830nm treatment is associated with improvements in wrinkles, elasticity, and collagen-related skin changes, which is why it is often chosen when the goal is healing, strengthening, and overall skin rejuvenation.
Blue light, commonly delivered around 415nm, is most often used for active acne as it helps target P. acnes bacteria involved in breakouts. This makes it a useful option for clients experiencing acne, congestion, and inflamed blemishes, particularly when a clearer and calmer complexion is the goal.
